Once your order is designed, printed and packaged, we prepare shipping. You will receive an email notifying you that your package has been delivered to the courier company. Shipping time starts from that email.

I don't know how to make wax seals nor do I have the time. Can you send them to me already made?

Of course. We can send you ready-made stamps like the ones you see in the photo, so you just have to stick them on.

In addition, from the sealing waxes already made you will also receive the stamp so that you can keep it as a souvenir.

How are wax seals made?

Once you have the seal with the couple's initials engraved on the metal plate, you have to choose the color of the sealing wax bar. We recommend that you choose a color that matches the design of your invitations. And use a low temperature sealing wax gun to melt the sealing wax sticks.

The first thing you have to do is cool the metal of the seal with ice and dry it well so that there are no traces of water. While turning on the gun to warm up.

If you are an expert at sealing wax, you can pour it directly on top of the envelope. But if it is the first time you do it, it is best to make the stamps on baking paper and, when they are dry, stick them with a double-sided sticker. This way you can do tests and you will not run the risk of damaging the envelopes or the paper where the wax seals go.

With the gun, pour a little melted sealing wax until it forms a circle of about 2.50cm. and quickly put the seal on it. Press it for about 10 seconds so that it marks well.

Every 5 to 10 stamps, cool the metal stamp plate again so that it is easy to mark it in the melted sealing wax.

How to put wax seals?

If you made the stamps on paper like those used in baking, you will need to stick them where you want them to go. They look very elegant on the envelope or on the invitation itself. But you will also like to see them in the minutes where the banquet menu is written or on the labels for the guests' gifts.

Well, when you have them all made, peel them off the baking paper and put a round double-sided sticker on each stamp, on the bottom. And so you can paste them wherever you want.

If you are going to use them to close the invitation envelope, stick them between the spout and the part of paper that is below.

What are wax seals used for?

They are usually used to close envelopes.

But another use is to decorate other elements of the wedding stationery such as the invitations themselves, menu cards or gift tags.

What are wax seals?

Wax seals are metal stamps that are marked on a layer of melted paste similar to wax or silicone and when it dries, the design that is engraved on the metal is marked. And they usually have the initials of the wedding couple. The normal thing is that they are designed to match the invitations.

How do I customize it?

You don't have to worry about doing anything. We already do it for you. You just have to leave us the initials, choose the color of the bars and the quantity (if you need them) and we will take care of the creative part.

What can I change about the design?

You can customize the initials that appear on the stamp. And we will create it with the same letters and design that you see in the photo.

In the catalog designs it is not planned to change the colors, the fonts, the order of the elements and illustrations that appear or add others. We know that this combination is the best for this seal, because we have previously done many tests until we found the design you see. We know that it looks very good this way. But we cannot assure you that what you imagine will turn out well.

But, if you still want to do it, ask us, because if there are many changes and it involves modifying the original design, we would be talking about a personalized design. And this has other costs and another way of working that we will have to evaluate with you.

Who is responsible if my order is delayed?

When your order leaves our facilities and we leave it in the hands of the courier service, the responsibility for ensuring that you receive it within the time stipulated for your destination and in perfect condition lies with the Parcel Company. Because from that moment on they are the ones who look after your order. In the same way that if they go to the address you have given us and no one answers, they will call you and you will be the one who must be responsible for making a new delivery with the delivery person.

You can let us know if any problem of this type occurs and we will help you in everything we can to solve it as soon as possible, but you must understand that we send shipments to an external company that is not part of Invitaciones de Papel. For this reason we cannot control or set the pace of work that we would like.
